 My Review

 

I recently received free coupons to review three Fazoli's products of my choice.  After looking for them at a couple different stores, I finally found them at Walmart.  I chose three different product that my whole family would like.

 

Mozzarella Stuffed Mini Breadsticks

 

These were very easy to make and only took less than a minute in the microwave.  They tasted great but were a bit soggy and the cheese exploded out of some.  My kids loved them anyways and keep asking for them every time we go to the store.

 

 

 

 

 

Six Cheese Toasted Ravioli

 

This one was my favorite!  There was no instructions to microwave these so I baked them in the oven.  They were simply amazing!  They had a light, crisp breading with a delicious cheesy center.  They came with marinara sauce but nobody likes that so we didn't use it.

Parmesan Boneless Chicken

 

I tried these in the microwave and in the oven and they were best in the oven.  The microwave made them a little rubbery.  They tasted great and the kids really liked them.  My son was hesitant to try them because he thought there was cheese in them.  You really can't taste much parmesan flavor.  He wants these now instead of the regular chicken nuggets that I regularly buy!

Make Amazing Chocolate Souffle's In Fifteen Minutes With Gourmet Souffle (Review)

Gourmet Souffle has the first Instant Chocolate Souffle Kit that allows you to make amazing souffle's in literally fifteen minutes!  You simply add water, mix, bake, add your favorite toppings, and eat.

  

My Review:

I was recently chosen to host a Gourmet Souffle party in my home and share this product with my friends and family.  I'm not sure if I have ever had a souffle before so I wasn't sure what to expect.  After looking at the website for recommended toppings, I talked to my guests about what they would like.  They all said chocolate, caramel, and pecans, which is exactly what I was thinking.  Before the party, I made a batch of four to try with my family.  They turned out great so I knew the party would be a success.  When the guests arrived, I showed them how simple it was to make the souffle's.  You just add water and mix with a mixer for a few minutes.  Then you distribute the mixture into the included ramekins and bake.  When they are done, top with whatever you like and enjoy!
I highly recommend the turtle souffle!

Some of my guests said they were expecting these to be like cupcakes but they are not.  They have more like a thick pudding texture.  They are best when served immediately out of the oven while warm.

Marich Premium Chocolates Has Great Gifts For Everyone

My Review:

I recently had the chance to review several items by Marich.  They sent me a lovely gift box with an assortment of their products in it.  Some aren't even available on the website yet!  Oh my goodness!  Caramels, almonds, mints, jelly beans, shortbread, and even a mix were in there!  Where do I start?  Well,  if you know me at all, you know I started with the caramels of course.

Here is what was included...

Candy Cane Caramels ($3.00)

These aren't your average hard sticky caramel.  They were soft and smooth.  The shell was chocolatey with a light candy cane flavor.  They were simply amazing and could be very addicting.

Christmas Chocolate Almonds

These are amazing almonds enrobed in milk chocolate and a candy shell.  They tasted great but I thought the shell was a bit thick and a little hard to bite through.  It was worth it to get to the delight inside, though.

Peppermint Bark Shortbread

These are crispy shortbread bites coated in dark chocolate and peppermint bark.  The coating is a lot like the Candy Cane Caramels.  It is unique, not overpowering, and delicious.  I could get addicted to these, too.

Christmas Green Beans ($3.00)

These are all natural jelly beans.  I am not usually a big fan of jelly beans but these are really good!  The flavors are all great and I could easily get hooked on them.

Christmas Holland Mints ($2.50)

These are soft creamy mints covered in dark chocolate and a candy shell.  Picture the little mints found at weddings.  Now soften them up, coat them in chocolate and candy coating.  That's what these taste like.  Yum!

Christmas Select Mix

 This is a festive mix of mellocremes, mints, Jordan Almonds, chocolates, & jellies.  Everything was great!  The mellocremes have a texture like candy corn but are different flavors.  Oddly, my kids didn't like them but I loved them.  The chocolates are amazing, melt in your mouth, milk chocolate balls wrapped in foil.  The jellies are are my least favorite of all.  They are an odd gummy coated with sprinkles.  I'm not a sprinkle fan or a gummy fan so that pretty much ended it for me.  The kids like them, though.  The mints and almonds are the same as above.  It is nice to have a mixture of several great items in one bag to keep the taste buds happy.

My Review: 

I recently had the chance to review a jar of Paradise Coconut Oil.  There are so many uses for this stuff, I don't know where to start.  I have always preferred coconut oil like this for my skin because it makes it feel amazing.  It also makes a great tan when I have time to lay out.  It does not leave my skin feeling overly greasy like many oils do.  When my hands and feet get dry and cracked, a tiny bit of coconut oil heels them up quickly!  This stuff is literally unscented so you don't have to walk around smelling like a coconut.  You can have great feeling skin and layer it with your favorite perfume.

You can use it as a cooking or frying oil as well.  I have used it in a few recipes and there is no coconut taste.  The recipes turned out great and I like it because they are healthier.  I would definitely recommend Paradise Coconut Oil to anyone.  You can purchase it HERE on Amazon in two different sizes.

I received these five Good Cook items to try out and created one of my favorite comfort food recipes with a few of these products.  I whipped up a pot of my Ultimate Creamy Baked Potato Soup.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

10 (fist size) potatoes

1 quart half & half

3 c. milk

1/3 c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1/8 tsp. pepper 

1/8 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt

  Bacon bits or bacon pieces (optional)

  Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Poke potatoes all over and microwave for 14 minutes, turning over after 7 minutes.  While they are cooking, melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat.  Add flour and whisk in half & half, milk, and last 4 ingredients. Bring to boil.  Remove skins from potatoes and chunk them slightly with a fork.  Add to pot.  Soup will thicken as it cools.  Top with desired amount of bacon and cheese.  This recipe serves 8.

Here's a little more info about the items I received.  They make great items to add to your drawer!
 

SMART Ice Cream Scoop:  This scoop is heavy duty and works great!  No more fighting with hard ice cream.  I even used it to scoop the baked potatoes out of their skins!  It worked like a charm!

Flip Measuring Spoon:  This has a teaspoon and a tablespoon on it.  After you fill one end, just flip it over and push the other side to pop it out.  It doesn't leave anything behind!

Pot Clip Holder: This works great to prevent messes on the counter or stove.  It clips on the pan and you just leave your spoon right in the pot!

Safe-Cut Can Opener:  This is four can and bottle openers in one!  It has your basic twist and open can opener, a pop top opener, a grip-twist wrench, and a pull tab lifter.  They all work perfectly.  I can de-clutter my counter from my junk electric can opener now.

Egg Separator:  I get tired of breaking eggshells in half and flipping them back and forth to get the yolks separate from the whites.  With this product, I no longer have to worry about that.  It works perfectly and saves me the trouble.

My Review:

My Review:

I recently had the chance to review Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder.  I had never tried anything like this before but I had read about the benefits of it.  I wasn't sure what to expect.  When I first received it, I chose a simple drink recipe in the 70 page recipe guide that came with it to get the idea of what it tasted like.  I chose the Sparkling Matcha which was made with Matcha Powder, sparkling water, ice, warm water, and lime.  To be honest, it was awful and I couldn't gut it.  I wasn't going to give up that easy because I knew water wasn't going to mask the flavor very much.  

The next drink recipe I tried was one of my own.  I mixed a little Matcha Powder with some warm Torani Salted Caramel syrup then added it to cold milk.  It was delicious!  I couldn't taste the Matcha at all.  I am addicted to milk with caramel syrup in it but usually don't warm it but I did this time to get the Matcha dissolved.

Since that recipe worked so well, I decided to try adding Matcha to my vanilla yogurt.  It blended in pretty good and I couldn't taste it all.  I am looking forward to trying Matcha Powder in more of my recipes because my energy and focus have been improved.  If it does what it says and improves my overall skin and hair health as well,  I will definitely continue to use it.  So far, I would recommend to anyone who wants an energy boost.  You can purchase it HERE on Amazon for $25.00 with free shipping.

My Review:

I recently received a case of Simply7 Quinoa Chips to review.  These are brand new additions to the Simply7 family and I was excited to try them.  I have been addicted to the other Simply7 chips since I won a giveaway awhile back.  After trying these, my addiction got worse!  There were four different flavors inside which included...

Sea Salt - These were may absolute favorite!  They are very lightly salted but cure a salty craving.  I can easily eat a whole bag myself but don't feel guilty because there is hardly any fat in them.

Cheddar - These have a great cheddar flavor and are amazing!

 

Sour Cream & Onion - I am usually not a Sour Cream & Onion fan but these are awesome.  I have become addicted to these.

 Barbecue - I have never like anything barbecue unless it is ribs or chicken.  I don't really care for these personally but my kids love them.  I am glad since they are healthy.  I will continue to buy these instead of junky barbeque chips for them.

My Review:

I received a tin of Cherry Laffy Taffy and a box of Original Spree Candy Canes to create a holiday recipe with.  I racked my brain trying to come up with something that I could use one of these items in a recipe for.  It was very difficult!

My ten year old daughter, Savanna, is constantly baking and experimenting in the kitchen.  One day when she was making cookies, I got an idea.  I rolled out some of the Laffy Taffy and shaped it like the cookies she was making.  I stuck it on top with a dot of frosting.

 

They were delicious and pretty too!  Nestle has a website for holiday recipe & craft ideas.  Some can be used year round or changed for different holidays.  They look like they will be amazing.  I am going to try some myself and would recommend them to anyone with a sweet tooth.

I recently had the chance to review a canister of tea of my choice by Shape Tea.  I chose the Relax Shape Tea.  I am not normally a big tea drinker but when I read that it tastes like cookies, I had to try it!  When it arrived, I couldn't believe how delicious it smelled.  It really does smell like cookies!  How can all of these little dried flower petals smell like this? 

 

The instructions said to let it steep for 5-7 minutes.  It made my whole kitchen smell good.  It was a little weak so I allowed it to steep a few minutes longer.  It tasted great and really did help me relax.  This tea is perfect for winding down after a workout or just before bedtime.  I love the fact that it is healthy and organic.  Each can is four ounces and contains 38 servings.  The ingredients are: Organic Shatavari, Organic Fennel, Organic Roses, Organic Green Rooibos, Organic Lavender, Organic Osmanthus, Organic Hibiscus, & Natural Flavors.

I recently had the chance to review a box of Linkydoodles Candy Chains.  I received the Cherry Stripe flavor.  When they arrived, my daughter immediately tore them from my hands to put them on our tree. 

The picture above is our lovely tree which is mostly handmade ornaments from my kids over the years and was 100% decorated by my daughter.  The Linkydoodles really set it off while they lasted.  They tasted so good, everyone that came in the house took one or two.  They have a great cherry flavor and are much better than the other cherry flavored candy canes.  They are just a little awkward to try to eat without breaking them up.

 



 

There are lots of decorating ideas for Linkydoodles like running them through Christmas cards.

 

You could link them together on your mantle.

 

 You can even use them as napkin rings!  What ideas can you come up with?
