My Review:

I recently had the chance to review an Ozeri Extravo Electric Wine Opener.  After breaking numerous corkscrews while opening bottles of wine, I was thrilled to try this.  I knew it would make my life easier.

When it arrived, I had to charge it for awhile before I could use it.  It turned a really pretty blue.  It also came with a foil cutter, pourer and a bottle stopper.

 The foil cutter was easy to use and has came in handy for other things as well.  I just have to turn it around a bottle and it cuts the seal for easy removal.

To remove the cork, I simply just placed the wine opener on top of the wine bottle and pushed down gently.  It quickly did the work for me and removed the cork in a few seconds.

 

I just had to push the top button to extract the cork.  I don't know why I ever messed with a manual corkscrew in the past.  I would definitely recommend Ozeri Extravo Electric Wine Opener to anyone who wants to save time opening wine bottles.  You can purchase it HERE for $28.95.

My Review

 

I recently had the opportunity to review the new Rollie EggMaster.  I was excited to try this out because I am always making something with eggs and they are so messy.  The Rollie is so easy to use and clean up is a breeze! 
 

The first recipe I tried was one of my own.  I just cracked an egg in the machine and dropped in some chopped up bacon and shredded cheese.  Seven minutes later, I had a bacon omelet on a stick.  It was awesome!

 



 

I also tried the French Toast Rollie recipe that was included in the booklet.  It was made with one egg, bread, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and milk.  It turned out great and was better than any french toast I had ever made before!  Watch this video for some more recipe ideas... 

I am loving this new little machine and how convenient it is. It is fun to use and it makes a nice snack to go. My family loves it and are looking forward to trying new recipes with it. My Review

 

I recently had the opportunity to review a Soda Sparkle Twin Bottle Home Soda Maker Starter Kit.  We are major pop drinkers so I am willing to try anything to cut down on the bags of cans we haul out of here.  When it arrived, my daughter could not wait to try it out.  The directions said not to allow children to operate it alone even though it was very simple to use.  The kit included the following:

Soda Making Machine
1.3L Light Sparkle Bottle
1L Extra Sparkle Bottle
5 Disposable Recyclable Chargers
15 Single-Serve Natural Flavor Packets
(Apple, Lychee, Cola-Lemon, Pineapple, & Tonic)

The Soda Making Machine was surprisingly small.  You just have to insert a charger, which is a Co2 cartridge, inside the charger Activating Body.  Fill the bottle of your choice to the correct line with chilled water.  Place the Sparkling Nozzle Cap on top of the Activating Body inside the water, and twist until the carbonation process is complete (about 30 seconds).  Then, you shake the bottle for 5 seconds and slowly unscrew the Nozzle Cap. 

You can enjoy sparkling water or add flavor sticks.  One flavor stick can be added to 7.44-8.45 fl. oz. of carbonated water.  I tried the Pineapple and I thought it was good but very different.  My kids loved all of the flavors.  I love the fact that there are no sugars, artificial flavors, or preservatives in them and they are all natural.  They think they are drinking pop but it's a better version.  It is also kind of fun to make.  The only downfall is the chargers can only be used once so you only get about four glasses out of each use.  This Starter Kit retails for $59.00.  You can buy extra chargers for $24.95 for 50.  You can get extra flavors for $19.99 for 60 packets.  Overall, I would recommend Soda Sparkle to anyone who wants to make their own soda at home.  It would also make a great gift idea.  Check out their website or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Dell 1355cnw Laser Printer Review

 

I was recently invited to take part in BzzCampaign for Dell Laser Printers because I am a BzzAgent.  Though most campaigns are free of charge, this one offered a 50% coupon for one of five select printers from the Dell website.  I was currently shopping for a wireless printer with a built in scanner and fax machine so this came at the perfect time.  I chose the Dell 1355cnw which is currently $419.99.  When I bought it, it was on sale for $300.00.  My 50% coupon made it $150.00 plus tax.  After I received it, I had no problem getting it to work with the USB cord but I could not get the wireless capability to work.  I spent three hours on the phone with customer service, getting transferred from tech to tech, before someone finally got it figured out.  It was a very frustrating experience but they did get it to work.  I print lots of labels for ebay items and the quality is amazing!  It prints very fast and clear.  I love the printer overall, even though I have not used the other capabilities yet.  I do have a direct contact number for the Dell Laser Printer Tech if I have any issues again.  Hopefully, I will not need them though.  I have found the toner cartridges are very costly but are actually cheaper than ink jet cartridges if you figure the cost per page.  Laser printers also use up to 70% less energy than ink jet printers.  This printer came with a one year warranty as well.  The way I see it, I can't go wrong, right?  You can save 10% on a Dell Laser Printer at www.dell.com with the code Z9C$HV0RR54D0L.

The soda maker was so easy to set up.  The instructions were simple to read and understand.  I basically just had to take it out of the packaging, screw in the carbonator, & I was ready to make soda!  I filled the one Liter carbonating bottle to marked line with water, screwed it in to the maker, & pushed 3 times on top.

After it made a loud noise, I unscrewed it and added the flavoring.  TADA!  In less than 30 seconds I made my own soda. 

It is so easy to use, my kids have been making soda themselves non-stop.  I am happy to allow them to have caffeine free soda and this machine makes it even cheaper.  My husband & myself only drink pop and nothing else.  We live on Mtn. Dew and SodaStream makes a similar flavor called Fountain Mist that I needed to try.  So, I went to Meijer & bought a bottle. It tastes like Diet Mtn Dew.  We can save alot by using SodaStream.  There will be no more lugging in cases of pop every week & storing them.  There won't be a ton of cans to smash and recycle.  There are so many flavors available to try.  My favorite so far is Ginger Ale.  It is absolutely delicious.  I thought the Orange & Root Beer flavors tasted like diet because they have a little aftertaste but my kids love them.  I just realized the flavors are made with Splenda.  All of the flavors I received are ok but I'm going to buy other flavors.  My kids love all of them so I will continue to buy what they like as well.  Overall, I really like this product because of the money we will save.  One 16.9 fl. oz. bottle of flavor makes 12 liters of soda.  They retail for $4.99 each.   That sure beats buying soda in the stores.

OZERI TOUCH PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL KITCHEN SCALE REVIEW

I received my Ozeri Touch Professional Digital Kitchen Scale a couple of days ago.  I was skeptical at first at how well they would work with the items I planned on using them for.  They turned out to work great!  I use them for my Ebay business and they are the perfect size for weighing packages and letters.  I really like them because I can change them to weigh in ounces, pounds, grams, or mL.  They even came with a Calorie Guide & U.S. Postal First Class Letter Rate Guide.  Though the rates are 2009 pricing, it still gives a rough idea for pricing.  The scales go up to 17.6 pounds so they are perfect for all my shipping needs & will replace my old digital scales completely.

Philips Satin Perfect Epilator Review

When I received the Philips Satin Perfect Epilator, I was so exited and could not wait to try it.  I let it charge and read the instructions that made absolutely no sense to me.  It was just a long page of blah, blah, blah.  All I got out of it was keep the skin taught and the hair should be 1/8" long.  They did not explain what all of the attachments were supposed to do or anything.  I was on my own to figure this thing out.  I waited a couple of days to let my leg hair grow out which drove me insane!  I shave every single day because I can't stand stubbles.  Finally, they were 1/8"  so I put the epilator attachment on and started in.  It felt like a slight stinging sensation but not terrible.  If you do not have any pain tollerance, you won't like this.  I repeated the epilation process every three days and the pain eased up every time.  There were less hairs each time as well.  The hairs are barely growing now.  I love this epilator!  I used the lighted tweezers on my eyebrows & they work perfectly.

Pros: lasts up to 4 weeks, hair comes in finer

Cons: bad instructions, can be painful, can't shave in between
