My Review:

I was recently able to take my family to Fort Rapids for two days and one night.  My husband and I took our two kids and my nephew on our way home from visiting my family in Kentucky.  We actually live about 3 1/2 hours from Columbus so making this a pit stop made it much nicer.

There was plenty of things for the kids to do but not too exciting for us adults.  We did enjoy the Blackout waterslide shown above.  It is a waterslide that you go down and it is completely dark!  Then you swirl around in this giant tube and get sucked down another black tube.  It was really fun and unique.  I spent most of the day in a chair watching the kids and in the adult's hot tub.  They also had a fitness room but I didn't want to leave the kids.

They gave us the Bryce Canyon Suite which has a private bedroom in the upstairs loft with one King Bed and Private Bath, and an oversized studio with two queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa.

The room was like an apartment!  The upstairs and downstairs rooms both had huge televisions and bathrooms.

After spending an entire day at the water park, the kids were tuckered out!  We ordered pizza in and called it a night.  They had a blast and are begging to go back soon.  I would definitely recommend Fort Rapids to anyone with kids.  You can check out their website or follow them on Facebook & Twitter.

Disclosure:  I was provided free passes through USFG for review purposes and not compensated in any other way.  My thoughts are my own.
